Helen Metken is an experienced Broker and began her career in real estate in 2006. Helen believes that all clients deserve the very best from his or her Agent, with a constant focus on professionalism, expertise, and collaboration. She believes in partnering with her Clients early in the process– sometimes months or years before – all the way through and past the sale. She is your real estate resource for life. 

Helen specializes in Buyers, Sellers, and Investors, including move-up Buyers and Sellers, first time Buyers, empty nesters, luxury property owners, relocation, and properties for renovation. She works with clients across the entire Indianapolis region including the surrounding counties, and in all price ranges. She has attained various sales awards throughout her career and has been a multi-million dollar producer since the beginning. Helen has served on the board of directors for the MIBOR REALTOR® Association and the Indiana Association of REALTORS®. She is currently on the board of directors for the REALTOR® Foundation and is the National Association of REALTORS® Federal Political Coordinator for Congresswoman Susan Brooks. Helen is licensed in the State of Indiana as a Broker, and as a Real Estate Instructor for both real estate pre-licensing and continuing education. Helen has decades of volunteer experience outside the industry including on the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity, plus volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America, the Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation, the United Way, and various PTO boards. Helen is a graduate of the MIBOR Real Estate Academy of Leadership and the United Way’s Leadership United Leadership Academy. Helen was named the 2017 Hamilton County Division of MIBOR Distinguished Service Award winner and the 2014 Hamilton County Division of MIBOR REALTOR® of the Year. Helen received the Bud Tucker Service Award in 2013 for the Hamilton County Division of MIBOR.

Helen grew up in Indianapolis and attended St. Matthew School and Bishop Chatard High School. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 1990 with a degree in political science and philosophy, during which time she met her husband Jim, a Northside Chicago native. They have been married since 1991 and have 3 sons. Chris, a 2017 graduate of Indiana University, and his new bride Sydney live in Atlanta, GA, with their rescue dog, Sarge. Nick, a 2018 graduate of Purdue University, travels across the US and Canada as a lighting designer in the concert production industry. And Tim, who graduated from Carmel High School in 2019 and attends Purdue. Aside from her passion for real estate, Helen enjoys traveling, cooking great meals, book club and neighborhood events, and exploring this great community with friends and family.
